This document outlines how to install a Simplex Door Lock (Touchpad 4 Digit) on a blank door frame. Requirements: Simplex Lock Door to install it on. Basic Tools Steps: 1. Install the tab on the door that is used to hold the door closed between itself and the frame with some simple screws. 2. Install the External facing piece, routing the cabling for the battery under the mechanism of the tab. 3. Install the plastic internal facing piece to the door with a simple screw. 4. Connect the wire from the External Facing Piece and the plastic internal facing piece with a simple screw, allowing now for the External piece to have power and accept data entry. 5. Install the internal metal piece (actual door piece) using two simple screws connecting now all three pieces with the door.

This document will outline the removal of a typical door handle. You will need a small flat blade, or a bobby pin to apply pressure on certain points of the uninstall. Steps: 1. Find the inside of the door handle, and along the inside of the door nob itself, there is a little metal piece that can be pressed in which releases the door nob. 2. There will then be a covering over the mechanism between the door and the handle mechanism which can be just turned clockwise and popped off. 3. Then you will the rest of the handling mechanism and the device holding the inside door pieces to the door, simply take out two screws and it'll come off. 4. Back on the outside of the door you will then see another small hole along the door nob area, which will release the internal mechanism for you to pull the door handle and all out.
